We're semi-retired and live in rural Park County (redundant, I know) and want to live off-grid as much as possible. Park County has a lot of extreme weather resulting in intermittent power outages. To fix this We wanted to go solar, but the battery backup was as much if not more than the solar array. After evaluating other solar companies, we decided to go with SunKey Energy because they worked with us to find a better solution. We now happily have a solar system with a propane-powered backup generator. The generator was 1/10th the price of the batteries and it provides backup energy when we need it. We also get to take advantage of the 30% tax write off, too. Woohoo!Everyone at SunKey Energy chipped into to help install our system, even Todd and Alex. They were all professional and the workmanship is great. SunKey even made sure that the power cable over the top of our roof matched the roof color. We're very happy.

We purchased a home in Colorado while living in California and wanted solar put in our Colorado home, so got three different quotes. Although in the end we decided against going solar, Alex at SunKey was so professional and responsive that we would have used his company if we had decided on solar!

Go with Sunken Energy and go solar. They will pleasantly and professionally answer all your questions and provide detailed graphics and tables for your knowledge. They are awesome. Whether you live in an HOA, a condo, town or country they can make it happen from start to finish.

These guys went out of their way to present the options, give me written material to ponder over, and to install my system as quickly as possible. They are professional, courteous and competitively priced. They did all the interfacing with the power company to get me set up correctly. They have also gave me their time to help me understand the way things work once installed and to look at additional options. I highly recommend them! They truly care about your particular needs.
